Float Valves: Float valves 2" (50 mm) and smaller shall be all bronze, screwed ends, float operated. Valves 2 'W' (65 mm) and larger shall be cast iron body, flanged ends, float operated. Float shall be all copper and mounted at the end of a brass or copper rod, which actuates valve operation. Copper floats shall conform to BS 1968
